August 10, 1998 -- Prescient Software announced its third major revision to the MergeRight product. The new MergeRight Java Edition brings the acclaimed easy to use MergeRight interface long available only on selected Unix platforms to widespread availability wherever Java is available.
Prescient Software also announced a PC Edition that is compiled from the Java Edition into a Windows executable capable of running on Windows 98, Windows 95 or Windows NT.
With the advent of the new versions, Prescient Software has announced these new releases will replace the existing Solaris, SunOS, HP-UX, DEC and IBM AIX versions.
